Surface RT is a PC ?

When Ballmer et co announced the Surface RT, they called it a PC. Good for them.

But why isn't this PC able to wire up to an Ethernet connection ?

There is no Ethernet port in it.

This is not so much of a PC then.

It remains to know if the Intel-based Surface PC coming out next year will sport an Ethernet port or not. If it does not either, you should conclude as a user that you won't be able to use this thing at work.

If you are a developer wondering whether the Surface era of thing is worth your time, so far the answer would be no except if you are in the entertainment industry.
