Surface Pro : the battery of a laptop PC

Someone from Microsoft today posted on his Twitter account that the coming x86 Surface tablet device from Microsoft will come with the battery life of a laftop (i.e. max 5 hours).

We already know this thing also has a fan.

Microsoft published a spec yesterday mentioning a huge price (dead on arrival IMHO) and also a stylus instead of a keyboard.

Bringing a stylus makes certainly sense since this touch-based device will run existing x86 apps (x64?) that were designed for a mouse and a keyboard. One can only wonder whether that is going to be a commercial hit, when customers have so much better designed devices out there.

Oh, and the Surface Pro comes with a fan.

So now you know...
