Build 3.5.0.50 of xlsgen improves how extra information in PNG pictures is taken care of. Any PNG picture may include a specific DPI (dot per inch) information which, when taken into account by a picture renderer, scales back and forth said PNG picture accordingly.

It is what Excel does. And it is what xlsgen must do in order to mimic Excel.
