Build 3.5.0.47 of xlsgen improves how PDF files are created, particularly text boxes in PDF files.
Before this build, text boxes would be rendered in a memory area then inserted in the current PDF file as a bitmap, the consequence being that it would make PDF files larger than they should, lines were not aliased and text would not scale. It was better than nothing but the layout left much to be desired.
Beginning with this build, text objects are native PDF objects, made of lines, fills, strokes and text glyphs. They scale according to your zoom level, the layout is much better and it saves space in the PDF files.
